Preservative Free O/W Emulsion

Manufacturing procedure

1. Weigh water and Radianol 4710 and stir until homogeneous solution. Heat up to 75°C, add Jolee 7907 and stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add Xanthan gum and stir until complete dispersion.
2. Mix the ingredients of phase B and heat the mixture to 75°C while mixing.
3. Add phase B to phase A while mixing (1000 rpm). Stir 1 minute with Ultra Turrax at 9000 rpm. Let the mixture cool down.
4. Add perfume below 40°C while stirring gently. Adjust pH with Citric acid up to pH 4.5 – 5.5

Assessment
White cream with good spreading.

Ingredients
Jolee 7907 is a preservative booster with emolliency properties.
Jolee 7750 is a light silicone-like emollient that gives a velvet effect to the skin.
Jolee 7202 is a silicone-like emollient and gives a powdery afterfeel to the skin.
