Silicone-Like Cleansing Lotion

Manufacturing procedure

1. Weigh water in the main beaker. Slowly add glycerin (300 rpm). Slowly add carbomer (400 rpm). Add Sodium hydroxide until a clear gel is obtained (pH 6). Heat at 80°C.
2. Weigh all the ingredients of phase B one by one and heat at 80°C until a clear solution is obtained.
3. Add phase B to A slowly under high stirring (1000 rpm) and stir 1 minute with Ultra Turrax (9000 rpm). Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
4. Add preservative and parfum below 40°C and adjust pH to 5.5.

Assessment
White gel lotion, light and homogenous, easy spreading. Cleanses the skin, removes make-up and leaves a soft film onto the skin.

Ingredients
Radia 7490 has excellent emulsifier properties. It can be used as sole emulsifier. 
Jolee 7750 gives a soft silicone-like feeling and helps to clean the skin. 
Jolee 7931 is a cleansing agent with refattening properties.
