Self-Tanning Face Lotion

Manufacturing procedure

1. Weigh water and glycerin in the main beaker.
2. Sprinkle the Carbopol Ultrez 10 under medium stirring and heat at 80°C.
3. Weigh all the ingredients of phase B and heat at 80°C until a clear solution is obtained and add phase B to A under high stirring with Ultra Turrax during 1 minute.
4. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature and add phase C then D. Adjust pH between 3-4 with citric acid.

Increase the tan of the skin and hydrate the skin.

Ingredients
Glycerine 4811 is a good humectant.
Radia 7490 gives a stable and elegant emulsion with great skin feel.
Radia 7104 is a non-occlusive emollient and compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients.
Radia 7730 is a soft and dry emollient.
Jolee 7202 is a silicone-like emollient and gives a powdery afterfeel to the skin.
