Silicone-Like Sunscreen SPF30

Manufacturing procedure

1. Weigh water in the main beaker, mix Glycerin with Xanthan gum to a homogeneous paste and add paste in the main beaker under slow stirring (400 rpm). Heat until 80°C.
2. Weigh all ingredients of phase B and heat at 80°C until a clear solution is obtained.
3. Add phase B to A under high stirring (1000 rpm).
4. Stir 1 minute with Ultra Turrax at 10000 rpm. Let it cool down to 40°C

Assessment
Slightly beige cream, easy spreading, powdery after feel. 

Ingredients
Glycerine 4811 is a good humectant.
Radiamuls POLY 2248K in combination with Radiamuls CITREM 2932K is an excellent O/W emulsifier.
Radia 7104 is a non-occlusive emollient and compatible with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients.
Jolee 7202 is a low viscous emollient with silicone-like properties.
