Manufacturing procedure

1. Weigh the water Phase A and heat it to 80°C mixing with the IKA Eurostar 20 (300 to 400 rpm). Sprinkle the Permulen TR2 and let mix for at least 5 minutes, until the solution is homogenous and doesn't contain agglomerates. Adjust pH o 5.5-6 with NaOH solution.
2. In a separate beaker, weigh the Phase B, premix Glycerine and Xanthan gum and add into water. Mix it with the IKA Eurostar 20 (400 rpm). Mix both the phases A and B until smooth.
3. Weigh the Phase C and add the emulsifier. Mix them together at 80°C. Slowly add the phase C to the water phase (A+B). Let it mix for 5 min at 400 rpm. Homogenize with Ultra Turax for 1 min at 8800 rpm.
4. Once the homogenized cream reaches 40°C, add Phase D ingredients. Homogenize with Ultra Turax for 1 min at 7000 rpm.

Assessment
Nice glide and coverage with full mineral UV filters. The skin feels soft and nourished after application.

Ingredients
Jolee 7777 is a liquid PEG-free emulsifier package to formulate multiple emulsions. It's also a mixture of emollients which softens and moisturizes the skin or hair.
Jolee 7202 is a silicone-like emollient and gives a powdery afterfeel to the skin.
Radia 7220 is a light emollient that quickly absorbs with an easy spreading and non-sticky afterfeel.
Radia 7677 is a skin-softening and texture-enhancing emollient.
